Italian guitarist Flavio Sala appeared with the Jury Bashmet New Russia Orchestra, the Turin Philharmonic Orchestra and the "Orquesta Sinfonica de Venezuela", played at the Tchaikovsky Concert Hall in Moscow, Hermitage Theatre in Saint Petersburg, "Teatro Coliseo" in Buenos Aires, Grand Teatro das Artes in Belo Horizonte, "Teatro Politeama" in Palermo, in Italy, Spain, Austria, Croatia, Romania, Bulgaria, Poland, Russia, Argentina, Uruguay, Brazil, Venezuela, Cuba and the United States of America, also collaborating with Mango, Steve Howe (Yes, Asia), Marcus Miller, Alain Perez, Rafael "Pollo" Brito, Fabrizio Bosso, Alex Acuña, El Piraña, Antonio Serrano, Jorge Pardo, Otmaro Ruiz, Euro Zambrano, Cesar Orozco, Cliff Almond, Huascar Barradas, Carles Benavent, Rubem Dantas, Toninho Horta, Giovanni Baglioni, Daniel Binelli, Hiba Al Kawas and many others.
Along with teaching at the "Agostino Steffani" Conservatory in Castelfranco Veneto (Italy), where he is classical guitar professor, Flavio Sala is currently working on a new album, this time entirely devoted to his own original music. "In the United States, I have repeatedly encouraged to write my music. Well, I tried and I liked not only the result, but also the strange feeling of playing something totally mine."
He plays classical and flamenco guitars made by the Italian luthier Camillo Perrella.
